My overall journey at the Recovery house was good and Satisfactory. I achieved my main goal of managing my anger issues, because of which I came here.
The entire staff was cooperative throughout my stay here and i didn't face any issues.
I learned how to take care of myself on a day-to-day basis by attending relevant sessions such as those focused on ADLs and the 8 Dimensions of wellness. I learned how to manage stress by taking sessions of stress management, and I learned how to communicate effectively by taking sessions of communication stills throughout my 3 months. I went to park every week with clients and some staff members during my stay here at TRH, It was fun and I enjoyed it.

When I came here I was not, my mind was cross.
Right now the temperaments and mood are lovely.
All the people are nice. Before they know me, now all of them are my friends.
This is the reply I can give to this hospital.
Now I am singing.
If you are happy and you know it, clap your hands.
After being discharged from here I will go in journalism, hopefully in ARY.
I will prove those I’m a writer & a philosopher – I can write articles but in English, can’t in Urdu.
They should open an English electrical channel, Voice in English. I will work for that.
I will definitely ask my salary first.
ARY News should start a paper in Urdu & which my sister and I can handle.
That should be it.
What is your reply?

My experience with TRH was good. I came here on July 29th. I made friends Ahmed and Zohair. They both helped me adjust and guided me about the rules and regulations of TRH and made sure I didn't feel lonely. They also introduced me to a tv show anime. So my overall experience regarding orientation was good. And my feedback regarding my peers is good.
Regarding my PRP, I had three, Miss Sadia, Miss Ayesha and Sir Jawahir. Tomorrow I'm being discharged under the supervision of Jawahir and my overall experience is good.
The kitchen staff has also been cooperating. I can request far less or more food anytime. The Taste is good and they never said no if I asked for more food.
The nursing staff is always available if I need anything, like medication, or if I'm or ill, have headache or body ache. They give me Panadol or even Imodium if I'm having diarrhea.

My experience at recovery House was a lot better this time around. I had support of Dr. Uzma and PRP Jawahir who helped me at every step of the way. Dr. Uzma provided thye necessary psychiatric medications and care and sir Jawahir cunselled and guided me. The Nursing staff Madam gulfareen and Aimen were in their care.
Treatment works at multiple level and it's a team led effort and the mentioned team member provided great care in my treatment.
I hope continued onwards, the team of psychiatric care, psychologists, and nursing staff continue to provide exceptional care.

It is most humbly submitted that, in this Rehabilitation Center I spent my time well, as all Staff, of PRP's and somehow PRP's are good and in nursing staff all staff behaviour are good except Kashif, who always talk rudely to every Patient, including me, but overall Staff have done very well specially Sir Jawahir who have struggle for my recovery.
I humbly request to you Sir kindly take strict action against nursing staff except Zaheer, Adeel, and 3 other staff which I don't know the name.
Though overall my experience in this rehab center was good and Great rest of the staff and doctors were also cooperative.

The TRH is a nice place. It is organized, and the staff is efficient. They provide assistance on time.
It has two sections: one male and another female, and both are dealt well. The medication, if needed, is provided immediately.
This is the best place so far. The nursing station is good too, and they provide help on time.
I have learnt to communicate with people and maintain a proper routine with timings here.

BASMA JATOIThe recovery house

Before coming to TRH, I had nearly stopped my medication and was also skipping doses. As a result, my behavior changed, and my relatives began to notice it. When things got out of control, my cousin sent me to TRH. I came to TRH on 13.2.2026, and the staff was very helpful and helped me to settle in. My doctor changed my medicine, which helped me to calm down as I was feeling very anxious. I continued Dr. Uzma’s medication, and slowly and gradually, I started taking control of things. Now, Maa Shaa Allah, I’m confident and can handle matters. I’ve also regularly been going for various sessions at TRH, and my active participation has been taken very positively. I thank the entire staff for supporting and helping me through my journey to recovery.

When I came here, I used to get very angry at the children. Then, gradually, TRH taught me anger management and how to control my anger, and I attended different sessions. Such as Independent Living Skills, Social Skills, Stress Management, and Anti-Stigma. All of these have benefited me a lot. Now, because of TRH, I can take care of the children independently, and I can also control my anger. Now I will not get so angry at the children; instead, I will try to live together with them in a cooperative and peaceful way. My journey at TRH has been good, and I have learned many things during this time, such as social skills. Now I am going to DRP, and after that, my mental health will improve even more.

I went through crisis intervention. I was told my stay would be for 10 days. Then a few things went wrong and my stay prolonged for 4 months. Firstly, I was brought against my will. Then hospitalization went up to 4 months & the reason why I was brought here was that I would relapse.
I have been going for outings and stayed clean & have not touched drugs after my last relapse.
Well, well, all the place & the seniors here have helped me a lot & now my odds of recovery are in my favor.
At the end, I must say that the last 4 months at the Recovery House were fruitful, and I assume this change will make a huge difference in my life.

My stay at The Recovery House
I was admitted to TRH for a month. The PRP staff was very courteous and friendly. Muneeza, my PRP, did a good job of arranging my phone calls and visits with my sister.
The sessions I had with other clients as a group were useful. The session on “self-confidence” really helped to boost my self-confidence.
One of the goals that my family had was that I should visit America to renew my green card. I have agreed to go to America, and this goal has been achieved.
One of the things that I feel will help clients is more visits with the psychiatrist at least once a week.

I, Khurram Amin, age 56 years old, was admitted in “The Recovery House” by my family members because of alcohol and drug abuse (cocaine) for 3 months. My experience at The Recovery House so far is/was exceptional.
Particularly needless to say, the staff and my PRP were very cooperative in many ways. They all have been very kind and helpful. Environment has been very good here as well. At the end of the day, I would definitely recommend The Recovery House to those who are in need.
