Nothing About Us Without Us

At The Recovery House, we recognize that individuals with lived experience bring valuable knowledge, insight, and leadership to mental health services. Our Lived Experience Advisory Panel (LEAP) ensures that the voices of service users, individuals in recovery, caregivers, and peer advocates actively inform and shape our work.

Why It Matters

By integrating lived experience into leadership and decision-making, we create services that are more responsive, relevant, and person-centered. LEAP helps strengthen trust, promote meaningful participation, and ensure that recovery remains at the center of everything we do.

Our rehabilitation model is collaborative, strengths-based, and recovery-focused. By combining evidence-based practices, lived experience, family involvement, and community support, we help individuals move toward lives filled with purpose, connection, opportunity, and hope.
